The seller reports that all five lower door frames have been replaced, and notes corrosion on the doors. A sideswipe collision is listed on the Carfax report in 2017.
Black-painted 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels wear 235/85 Cooper Discoverer STT tires, and a matching spare is affixed to the rear cargo area door. The seller reports that the tie-rod, tie-rod ends, wheel cylinders, and rear brake shoes were replaced during current ownership.
The six-seat, right-hand-drive cabin is upholstered in gray houndstooth fabric and vinyl and features gray carpeting. The headliner and sun visors are replacements, and additional interior equipment includes a heater and manual crank windows.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 101k miles, approximately 20k of which were added by the seller.
The 2.5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four powers all four wheels through a five-speed LT77 manual gearbox and a replacement two-speed transfer case reportedly sourced from a later-model Discovery. The cam belt was reportedly replaced prior to importation in 2017, and the seller notes that maintenance completed during their ownership included replacement glow plugs. An oil change and fuel filter change were performed in 2020.
The steering box was reportedly replaced by the seller along with the rear axle oil seal, driveshaft joint, Panhard rod bushings, and clutch cylinders. Recent work included installation of a replacement rear exhaust section, rear crossmember, chassis sleeves, and the fuel tank and cradle. Corrosion is noted on underside components.
