Additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, steel wheels, and front and rear heaters. The body was reportedly removed from the frame prior to a repaint in Dune Beige with a white roof. Additional work is said to have included replacement of the fenders, rockers, quarter panels, and lower rear door panels as well as sections of the floor pans.
Gray 15″ steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and BFGoodrich Land Terrain tires, and are mounted over manually-locking hubs up front. A spare tire is affixed to the swing-out carrier at the rear. The truck was fitted with rear disc brakes, a power steering system from a Toyota pickup, body mounts, and Old Man Emu shocks and springs. A master cylinder was replaced in 2010.
The interior was repainted in body color and the floors coated with black textured liner. Interior features include front bucket seats reupholstered in gray vinyl, a matching rear bench, front and rear heaters, and rubber floor liners. The cigarette lighter and period AM/FM cassette radio are inoperable, the EGR warning light is illuminated, and the driver’s seatbelt is frayed.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil, fuel level, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 46k miles, approximately 10k of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six is said to have been fitted with new seals and gaskets as well as an electronic ignition module in 2010. Maintenance in April 2021 included an oil change and a carburetor rebuild.
Power is routed through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, both of which were resealed in 2010 aLording to the seller. The frame was reportedly sandblasted and coated with a rust inhibitor along with both axles. A leak is noted from the front differential.
