14″ Panasport wheels are finished in silver and wear staggered-width Nexen tires bearing 2014 and 2015 date codes. A 13″ steel spare fitted with a Kumho tire is housed within the trunk. The front suspension was rebuilt during prior ownership and a brake booster was added, and in preparation for the sale the rear drum brakes and emergency brake were serviced.
The cabin features seats trimmed in black upholstery with red piping, which are aLompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard pad and carpeting that were fitted under prior ownership. Lap belts are equipped for both oLupants, and a lockable center console is fitted between the seats. Additional service during prior ownership included rebuilding the window mechanisms, fitting insulation under the carpeting as well as door-mounted speakers, and replacement of the wiring harness.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a horn ring and fronts instrumentation that consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, amperage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 76k miles. The 1,725L inline-four was rebuilt in August 2020 by British Motors in Van Nuys, California and is paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The seller describes evidence of damage and repair on the lower portion of the engine block, and the area was further repaired and reinforced prior to reassembly. Additional work included the rebuild and installation of dual Zenith Stromberg carburetors along with a manual choke system and replacement of the fuel filter, alternator, and voltage regulator. The radiator and clutch cylinders were replaced during prior ownership, and the clutch was repaired in preparation for the sale.
Further work performed during current ownership included repair of the stainless-steel exhaust components.
