All 250 40th Anniversary Edition SL320s were finished in Quartz Blue Metallic (012) with a dark blue convertible top. A scuff is noted on the right corner of the front bumper, and blemishes are present on the rear bumper trim strip and the soft top.
16″ eight-hole alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ContiExtremeContact tires. Anti-lock disc brakes and a traction control system were equipped as standard.
The cabin is trimmed in gray Exquisite leather and aLented by a dark grey dashboard, Royal Maple wood trim, and 40th Anniversary Roadster floor mats. The wood-trimmed and leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline, a clock, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel efficiency. The digital odometer shows 20k miles.
The 3.2-liter M104 inline-six features 24 valves and was rated at 228 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.
