This 2015 Ford Mustang GT 50th Anniversary Edition is #1335 of 1964 examples built for the model year and was purchased new by the owner from Springfield Ford in Pennsylvania. The car is finished in Wimbledon White over two-tone cashmere and black leather and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car was never dealer prepared and was delivered to the owner wearing factory delivery stickers and a protective shipping cover that remains attached at the windshield. The cover has been partially removed to show the vehicle underneath.
All 50th Anniversary Edition Mustangs were GT coupes and available in one of two 1964 ½ paint codes. This example is finished in Wimbledon White and features chrome trim on the taillights, grille, and side glass. Additional 50th Anniversary Edition details consist of a faux rear gas cap and layered rear quarter windows that simulate louvers. The car is equipped with HID headlights, LED fog lights, and LED taillights with sequential indicators.
Staggered-width 19″ Y-spoke wheels wear 255/40 and 275/40 Pirelli P Zero tires that show 2014 date codes. The four-wheel disc brakes feature six-piston Brembo front calipers that were fitted as part of the Performance Package.
The interior features two-tone black and cashmere leather seating surfaces along with matching door panels and aluminum-look dashboard trim. Amenities include heated and cooled front seats with driver position memory, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Shaker audio system, Ford Track Apps, and Sync with MyFord Touch. A plaque on the dashboard identifies this car as #1335 of 1964.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a digital multi-function display. The digital odometer shows 6 miles.
The 5.0-liter V8 found in the 50th Anniversary Edition was factory rated for 435 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes that the oil has been changed and that the ECU is factory locked for transport and will need to be unlocked at a Ford dealer.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
