This 1987 Land Rover 90 was first delivered in Greece, and it remained in the country prior to its acquisition and subsequent importation to the US in March 2021. The truck was refurbished while in Greece, and work is said to include refinishing the exterior in Ivory, trimming the interior with diamond-patterned leather upholstery, rebuilding the 2.5-liter inline-four, and fitting an aftermarket touchscreen stereo and sound system. Additional equipment includes a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, a locking center differential, a brown soft top, Bilstein shocks, and a custom cargo area lining, along with 16″ Sawtooth wheels that were recently fitted.
The bodywork was refinished in Ivory in Greece, and features include a padded roll cage and brown soft stop with a roll-up rear window. Black-finished steel bumpers and side steps are fitted, along with Land Rover-branded mud flaps at each corner.
Sawtooth 16″ Diamond Cut wheels were recently installed and are mounted with 205/80 Insa Turbo Special Track-2 tires, with a matching wheel and tire mounted on the swing-out rear tailgate. The shock absorbers have been replaced with Bilstein components.
The cargo area and benches are lined with wood.
The interior features bucket seats upholstered in brown leather with diamond-patterned inserts and debossed Land Rover logos, and matching leather covers the dashboard and door panels. Beige carpeting protected by Land Rover-branded floor mats, and additional equipment consists of manual wind-up windows, a fire extinguisher, and an aftermarket touchscreen stereo with USB connectivity and linked to Ground Zero speakers and a Kicker subwoofer.
The three-spoke MOMO steering wheel frames a 150-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and coolant temperature and battery voltage gauges, while an analog clock and fuel gauge are mounted on the dashboard under the touchscreen stereo. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 259k kilometers (~161k miles).
The gasoline-powered 2.5-liter 17H inline-four sends power to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. The seller states that the engine was rebuilt during the refurbishment, which was approximately 3k kilometers ago.
Three keys, service records, manufacturers’ literature, British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate, and importation documents are included in the sale.
