The exterior is finished in Jet Black with Shadowline trim and hand-painted tri-color pinstripes, and equipment includes a power moonroof, Dinan badging, xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, and quad Dinan exhaust tips with aftermarket rear valance trim. The hood and right fender were replaced following damage from a falling tree branch in 2019, which was paid for by the owner’s insurance company and is listed in the Carfax report as ‘minor damage’. A ceramic coating was applied to the exterior following the repair.
Dinan 19″ forged alloy wheels wear Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires measuring 255/35 up front and 285/35 out back. The car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control, and Dinan front and rear sway bars and strut braces have been installed along with Dinan springs and JRZ shock absorbers. Slotted rotors and performance brake pads are fitted all around.
The power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in Imola Red Nappa leather, which extends to the rear seats and door panel trim. Black carpets are protected by Dinan-branded floor mats, and the cabin features wood trim decorated with hand-painted tri-color pinstripes along with AC Schnitzer aluminum pedals. The BMW Business CD stereo is paired with a trunk-mounted CD changer and a Harman Kardon sound system, and additional amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, power aLessories, and Park Distance Control. A set of spare armrests is included in the sale along with the removed factory trim pieces.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames factory instrumentation including a 185-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and gauges for fuel level, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. VDO gauges for oil pressure, vacuum, and voltage were installed in the center stack in 2009. The odometer indicates under 42k miles.
The 3.2-liter inline-six features VANOS variable valve timing and sends power to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Modifications include a Dinan cold-air intake, a high-flow mass air flow meter housing, Stage 4 engine management software, and a short shifter. A serialized Dinan sticker is fitted on the radiator support. The rod bearings were replaced in October 2004, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
The Dinan rear exhaust system is paired with a Rogue Engineering center section.
