The America Roadster was a widebody variant of the 964 cabriolet, and this example is finished in Guards Red (L80K) with a black soft top. Additional details include fog lights, headlight washers, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and a cloth top boot. Noted flaws include a crack in the windshield and tears in the B-pillar sections of the soft top.
18″ Speedline-style wheels wear 225/40 front and 265/35 rear Sumitomo HTRZ tires showing a mix of 2007 and 2017 date codes. America Roadsters were factory equipped with Turbo-spec brakes, and the seller states that the brake fluid was changed in March 2018. Lowering springs have been installed, and the removed factory springs are included in the sale.
The cabin features power-adjustable seats trimmed in Cashmere Beige leather along with matching carpets and door panels. A Becker/Porsche CD player has been installed, and additional features include cruise control, power aLessories, and Porsche-branded floor mats.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer is said to have been repaired in March 2018 and currently shows 82k miles.
The 3.6-liter flat-six was factory rated at 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. A K&N air filter was installed under previous ownership, and the seller notes oil seepage from the engine.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
