This 1991 Land Rover Defender 110 is a left-hand drive example that was acquired by the seller in the UK 18 months ago and imported to the US in 2021 following a beach runner-style refurbishment. The work included a repaint in Coniston Green, refinishing the frame, and interior reupholstery in brown synthetic suede as well as replacement of the timing belt, braking and suspension components, and radiator. Power is provided by a 2.5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case. The truck also features Terrafirma springs and shocks, 16″ Tornado wheels with all-terrain tires, a soft top with roll-up windows, LED headlamps, and cargo-area bench seats.
The body was removed from the frame and repainted in Coniston Green following installation of new doors aLording to the seller.
The black full-length soft top features roll-up side and rear windows. Tornado wheels wear 265/75-16 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, and a matching spare is mounted to a swing-out carrier at the rear. The suspension was refreshed with Terrafirma springs and shocks as well as polyurethane bushings.
The interior features replacement front bucket seats as well as inward-facing rear benches upholstered in brown synthetic suede. Amenities consist of a pair of storage consoles, an aftermarket wood-rimmed steering wheel, and seatbelts for all eight oLupants.
Instrumentation includes a 150-km/h speedometer with a six-digit odometer showing 179k kilometers (~111k miles).
