This 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT is said to have been purchased new by the seller and it was subsequently refurbished and modified. The car is powered by a 5.3-liter LS4 V8 engine paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle and has been refinished in gray over a custom red and black interior. Additional modifications include a custom rear spoiler, front chin spoiler, 19″ Savini wheels, a custom exhaust system with Borla mufflers, digital gauges, and a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo.
The car was refinished in metallic gray and features a custom front chin spoiler and rear aerodynamic treatments that are unique to the GT model. Equipment includes a removable glass sunroof panel, retractable headlamps, a custom rear wing, and quad exhaust outlets. The exterior rubber seals are said to have been replaced.
The 19″ Savini wheels feature polished lips and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 235/35 up front and 275/30 out back. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs. The tires are said to have recently been installed.
The cockpit features seats trimmed in black and red leather with embroidered GT logos as well as a suede-wrapped console, pillars, and dash covering. Interior equipment includes power aLessories, faux carbon-fiber aLents, replacement carpets protected by GT embroidered floor mats, and a custom sound system with a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo, Infinity amplifier, a subwoofer, and upgraded speakers.
The leather-wrapped Grant GT three-spoke steering wheel frames a replacement Dakota Digital gauge cluster located in the factory housing. The digital odometer indicates 4k miles.
The 5.3-Liter LS4 V8 is mounted transversely behind the cabin and features a custom intake, an exhaust system with Borla mufflers, and an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. The seller states that an LS6 camshaft has been installed. The drive belts have been replaced and the oil changed in preparation for sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed 4T65E automatic transaxle.
