The car was purchased by the seller in 2008, and service in 2019 included an overhaul of the engine with replacement timing chain guides, oil lines, and gaskets.
The exterior is finished in Marine Blue Metallic (35V) and equipped with a tinted windshield and a sunroof. Modifications include relayed Hella H4 headlights with chrome trim rings, European-specification tail lights, and European-style rear bumperettes with lightweight shock dampers for the bumpers, and a Carrera-style front spoiler and a Bob Stratton ducktail rear spoiler have also been fitted. The Carfax report lists damage to the rear of the car in 2003, which the seller states was the result of a parking lot incident during prior ownership.
Zuffenhaus ‘Zuchs’ 17″ forged-alloy wheels have polished lips, black spokes, and colored Porsche-crest center caps, and they are fitted with Michelin Super Sport tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. Suspension and braking modifications are said to include the following:
- 996-specification brake calipers with replacement front hubs
- Cross-drilled rotors
- 23mm master cylinder
- Elephant Racing bushings and custom-valved shocks
- Turbo-specification tie rods
- Upgraded 22mm and 29mm torsion bars, with hollow rear bars

The cabin features tan leather and Alcantara-trimmed Recaro Pole Position front seats, and a Safety Devices half cage and Rennline seat belt anchors are also fitted. During current ownership replacement carpets and sound insulation were installed, and additional equipment includes a JWest Engineering RennShift shifter, a TRE Motorsports 917-style wood shift knob, along with an aluminum throttle pedal and footrest covers. Additional equipment includes a Blaupunkt CD stereo, embroidered floor mats, and power windows, and the seller notes that the air-conditioning system components have been removed, the fresh air functions do not work and the speakers work intermittently.
The leather-trimmed MOMO steering wheel with yellow centering stripe sits ahead of rotated instrumentation including a central 7k-rpm tachometer and a 170-mph speedometer, as well as an analog clock and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 133k miles.
The front trunk has been modified to include a Porsche 996-specification aluminum space-saver spare wheel as well as a Rennline triangular strut tower brace, blower-motor cover, and battery relocation kit with a lightweight battery.
The air-cooled 3.2L flat-six has been modified with a Steve Wong ECU chip, Web Cams 20/21 camshafts, a drilled airbox with a K&N filter element, a Zims heater duct backdate kit, and a Fabspeed exhaust system with dual outlets. Work in 2019 included replacement of engine case studs, chain guide rails, oil lines, two exhaust studs, and three piston rings. The timing cover gaskets and valve cover gaskets were replaced at the same time, and the seller states that the engine insulation pad was also replaced, an oil change was recently performed, and the valve guides were rebuilt at 88k miles. No catalytic converter is fitted, and the removed components are included in the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle, and the syncros were reportedly rebuilt at 119k miles. Additional work performed at that time included fitting a replacement clutch kit, a G50 clutch cross-shaft kit, and a Kennedy Engineering lightweight pressure plate.
