This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS coupe is finished in metallic blue over black upholstery and powered by a rebuilt 396ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end. The car was first purchased from Cernohous Chevrolet in Wisconsin in March 1969, and it was acquired by the seller in 2019. The engine was rebuilt in 2020 and modified with an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Braswell carburetor, Manley Performance valves, Trend Performance pushrods, MSD ignition components, a Competition Cams camshaft, and more as detailed below, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
The exterior was refinished in metallic blue with white side stripes during prior ownership and features SS and 396 badging, dual exhaust outlets, twin hood bulges, and chrome bumpers and trim.
Super Sport-style 14″wheels are mounted with chrome trim rings, SS-logo center caps, and Goodyear Polyglas G70 tires.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats upholstered in black vinyl, and equipment includes a floor-mounted shifter and a factory FM stereo hooked to replacement speakers.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a Sunpro tachometer, and a mix of factory and aftermarket ancillary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 80k miles.
