Factory equipment includes the Warm Weather and Sports Exhaust packages, heated front and rear seats, Bose audio, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control, while modifications consist of 19″ Avant Garde M510 wheels, an MTM TCU tune, Hotchkis sway bars, a Cupra R-style front lip spoiler, and LED tail lights. The car was first sold by University Park Audi of Dallas, Texas, and spent time in New Jersey and Florida prior to the seller’s acquisition and subsequent relocation to Minnesota in June 2012. Service completed in September 2020 is said to include a timing belt and water pump service as well as replacement of the spark plugs and battery.
The car is finished in Daytona Grey Pearl Effect (LZ7S) and features matte aluminum trim, a sunroof, flared fenders, parking sensors, fog lights, a rear deck lid spoiler, a Cupra R-style front lip spoiler, and aftermarket LED tail lights. The car was optioned with the Sports Exhaust package which specified dark-finished exhaust tips and different mufflers as compared to the standard system. A scuff is visible on the rear bumper, and the seller notes stone chips on the front bumper, hood, and windshield.
Silver-finished Avant Garde M510 wheels measure 19×9.5″ and are mounted with 265/35 Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires. The car rides on an adaptive Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) suspension, and stopping power is provided by eight-piston Brembo calipers up front along with cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. Hotchkis sway bars have been added, and a brake fluid flush was reportedly performed under current ownership. A set of five factory wheels will accompany the sale.
The cabin features front and rear heated seats trimmed in silver Nappa leather with black piping, and burl wood trim accents the black dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include Bose audio, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, power accessories, and a factory CD/cassette stereo. This example was optioned with the Warm Weather Package which added a powered rear window shade, rear passenger sunshades, and a solar panel on the sunroof that powers a cooling fan when parked.
The steering wheel is wrapped in perforated leather and frames a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a multi-function display, and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, fuel level, and battery voltage. The digital odometer indicates 54k miles.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 4.2-liter V8 was rated at 450 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque when new. Maintenance performed in September 2020 reportedly included a timing belt and water pump service as well as replacement of the spark plugs and battery, and the oil was most recently changed in July 2021.
Power is delivered to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transaxle and Quattro all-wheel drive, and the seller states that an MTM TCU tune is installed.
