This 2005 Ford Mustang GT coupe is finished in white with red stripes over red leather, and it is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 that has been fitted with Roush supercharger and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Additional modifications includes Micky Thompson 20″ wheels, Ford Racing suspension components, a Hurst shifter, a Kenwood stereo, a Flowmaster exhaust system, and more as described below. The car was first registered in Alabama and spent time in Georgia before it was acquired by the selling dealer in May 2021. The air conditioning system was serviced in August 2020 and the clutch was replaced in April 2021.
The car is finished in Performance White and features red over-the-top stripes as well as matching side stripes with S/C lettering. Additional details include fog lights, a hood scoop, a rear spoiler, and polished dual exhaust finishers. Aftermarket tint has been applied to the headlights, and a rear-view camera is situated near the rear license plate cut out.
Staggered-width 20″ Mickey Thompson wheels are finished in gloss black with polished lips and wear 255/35 front and 305/35 rear Mickey Thompson Street Comp tires that show 2016 date codes. The Ford Racing suspension was installed in July 2008 and consists of front and rear sway bars in addition to revised springs and struts. The car is also equipped with a BMR panhard bar, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors all around.
The cabin features Crimson Red leather seats with perforated inserts along with black carpeting protected by Roush-branded floor mats. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, power accessories, a Kenwood touchscreen stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, and a trunk-mounted subwoofer. The air conditioning system was recharged in August 2020.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 145-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows just over 34k miles.
The 4.6-liter V8 was fitted with a Roush supercharger in July 2007 by Bondy’s Ford in Dothan, Alabama. Additional modifications include a Roush strut tower bar and air intake as well as a Flowmaster exhaust system with tubular headers and an x-pipe. The selling dealer states that an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Service in April 2021 consisted of replacing the clutch with a McLeod Racing unit along with fitment of a Hurst shifter.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Floyd Shirley Ford-Mecury Inc in Brundidge, Alabama, as well as factory colors, equipment, and and an total MSRP of $28,740. Manufacturer’s literature, Mustang memorabilia, service records, and two keys with remotes are also included in the sale.
