The body was repainted in Wimbledon White under current ownership and features a black convertible soft top. A removable hardtop is included in the sale and reportedly wears replacement weather stripping. Additional equipment includes chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, a hood scoop, and a dual-exit exhaust.
Aftermarket 15″ alloy wheels are fitted with 205/50 Dunlop Direzza tires. A five-lug conversion was completed during the seller’s ownership, and the front suspension was rebuilt using replacement bushings, ball joints, and tie rods. Disc brakes with Wilwood calipers are fitted, and the front suspension components have been powder coated.
The cabin features reupholstered cream seats with tan inserts and piping along with matching door panels and carpets, and a wood veneer dashboard. Features include a center console, glovebox, manually-operated windows, sun visors, and an analog clock. Interior sound insulation was added at the time of reupholstery in 2013.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames replacement instrumentation including a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit digital odometer shows 3k miles, and the seller has added roughly 7k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.8-liter Ford V6 was installed using a Jose Rodriguez V6 conversion kit and was reportedly rebuilt in 2013 using a replacement block. The seller notes the car leaves a drop of oil when parked overnight, and the oil and filter were changed in preparation for sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T5 five-speed manual transmission and a Ford 8″ rear axle with a locking differential and 3.55:1 gear ratio.
