The body is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) and features Alpina-specific front and rear bumper covers, front lip, rear spoiler, and badging. A brake fluid flush was performed in November 2020, and the front rotors and pads have reportedly been replaced during current ownership. Amenities include Dark Ash wood trim, active cruise control, an active driver’s seat, climate controlled front seats, heated rear seats, power rear sunshades, automatic soft-close doors, Comfort Access, BMW Night Vision, a navigation system, a DVD player, and a Logic7 sound system with a 6-disc CD changer. The seller notes that the trunk-mounted DVD player works intermittently. The driver’s window regulator was reportedly replaced in May 2021, along with the installation of Alpina plush floor mats.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an Alpina gauge cluster that consists of a 200-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and digital displays. The odometer shows 51k miles.
The supercharged 4.4-liter V8 features an Alpina-specific block, forged crankshaft, and Mahle pistons, and was tuned by Alpina to a factory-rated 500 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Service performed under current ownership is said to have included re-setting the VANOS system, a coolant flush, an oil change, and replacement of the alternator and battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed ZF automatic transmission.
