This 1987 BMW 325is is finished in white over black vinyl and powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car was first registered in Florida and later spent time in Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina before being exported to Canada in 2016. It was acquired by the seller in late 2020, and subsequent work is said to have included fluid changes and replacement of the battery, tires, brake pads and rotors, engine oil thermostat, and an engine mount.
The car was finished in Alpine White from the factory and was repainted during prior ownership. Equipment includes a 325is-specific front air dam specific for the model year and rear spoiler, fog lamps, an electric sunroof, and US-market bumpers and lighting. The seller notes blemishes in the right-side chrome trim and states that the power antenna extends only partially.
Silver-finished 14” basketweave wheels wear 185/70 Kumho Solus TA11 tires showing 2021 date codes. The suspension has been fitted with H&R lowering springs and Bilstein shocks. According to the seller, an alignment was recently performed, steel-braided brake lines have been installed, and the the brake pads and rotors were replaced along with the front wheel bearings.
The interior features replacement seats trimmed in black vinyl with matching door panels and grey carpeting. Appointments include front sport seats, an M-Technic 1 steering wheel, electric windows, R134a-based air conditioning, cruise control, a replacement weighted shift knob, and a Bluetooth-capable Kenwood CD stereo with USB and auxiliary inputs. The removed stock shift knob is included in the sale.
Replacement factory instrumentation includes a 240-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 85k kilometers (~53k miles).
The 2.5-liter M20 inline-six sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a factory limited-slip differential. Service under current ownership is said to have included replacement of the battery, engine oil thermostat, a power steering hose, and an engine mount along with changes of the coolant and differential fluid.
