This 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS coupe is a 35th Anniversary edition that was acquired by the current owner in Pennsylvania in February 2006 and subsequently relocated to Missouri. The car is finished in Bright Rally Red over two-tone Ebony and gray leather and is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes the SS Performance and Appearance package, the Preferred Equipment Group, 35th Anniversary badging, removable T-top roof panels, silver hood and trunk graphics, traction control, power accessories, and a Monsoon stereo with a 12-disc CD changer.
All 3,369 of the 35th Anniversary edition Camaros were finished in Bright Rally Red with silver graphics on the hood and hatch as well as commemorative fender badges. Features include black T-top roof panels, fog lamps, body side moldings, and power mirrors. The SS package added a functional hood scoop and a rear spoiler.
Factory 17″ twin-spoke aluminum wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires that are said to be over 18 years old. The car is equipped with the FE4 high-performance ride and handling package as well as four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and traction control.
The interior is trimmed in Ebony and gray two-tone leather with 35th Anniversary embroidery on the headrests, and a 35th Anniversary placard is affixed to the center stack. Features include power windows and locks, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a Monsoon AM/FM/CD stereo with a remote 12-disc changer.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel features audio controls and frames a 155-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates just under 700 miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was factory rated at 325 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque in SS trim.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
The window sticker, build sheet, and other manufacturer’s literature are included in the sale.
