This 2000 Porsche Boxster S was sold new at Circle Porsche-Audi of Long Beach, California and remained with its first owner until it was acquired by the seller in November of 2020. The car is finished in Guards Red over Savannah Beige leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Work performed in November 2020 consisted of installing an LN Engineering IMS Solution and replacement of the clutch components. Features include an electronically locking differential, a black soft top with a glass rear window, 18″ chrome-finished Turbo-look wheels, xenon headlamps with washers, a wind deflector, automatic climate control, and a CDR-220 stereo with a hidden plug-and-play Bluetooth adapter.
The Boxster S was introduced for the 2000 model year, and this example is finished in Guards Red (L84A). Equipment includes xenon headlamps with washers, fog lamps, rollover hoops, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. A Haartz replacement black soft top with a heated glass rear window was reportedly fitted in 2019.
Chrome-finished 18″ Turbo-look wheels are wrapped in 225/40 and 265/35 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The car features cross-drilled brake rotors and traction control. A brake fluid flush was performed in March 2019.
The cockpit features seats upholstered in Savannah Beige leather with matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes power windows, automatic climate control, a wind deflector, black Porsche-branded floor mats, and a factory CDR-220 stereo. A Bluetooth adapter has been added to the factory stereo auxiliary input.
The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 16k miles.
The 3.2-liter M96 flat-six is mounted ahead of the rear storage area and produced 250 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque when new. An LN Engineering IMS Solution was installed by Hi-Tec Automotive of San Rafael, California in November 2020, at which time an oil change was performed and the crankshaft seal and clutch components were replaced. Additional work performed in March 2019 included replacement of the coolant expansion tank, thermostat, and ignition switch.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and an Automatic Braking Differential.
The included window sticker lists original delivery to Circle Porsche-Audi of Long Beach, California as well as standard and optional equipment adding up to a total price of $54,892 when new.
Factory literature, a fitted car cover, and an uninstalled rear speaker kit are also included in the sale.
