This 2005 Lotus Elise is finished in Chrome Orange over black and powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes the Sport Package, a removable hardtop, air conditioning, and a Blaupunkt CD stereo as well as a Larini dual-tip exhaust with a Monkey Wrench Racing catalytic converter delete pipe, a front splitter and rear spoiler, MWR underdrive pulleys, and a Moroso aluminum coolant expansion tank.
The car is finished in optional tri-coat Chrome Orange and was optioned with Star Shield paint protection film on the front end. The body-color removable hardtop is shown fitted above, and other exterior details include an aftermarket front splitter, side air intakes with mesh grilles, an aluminum fuel filler door, a Lotus Type 72D rear spoiler, a Nautilus air horn, and aftermarket taillights. A rear diffuser has been fitted in place of the factory rear panels, which are included in the sale along with the removed factory taillights.
The 16″ and 17″ wheels have been powder-coated black and are mounted with Yokohama Advan A048 tires measuring 195/50 up front and 225/45 out back. The seller states the brake calipers were rebuilt and stainless-steel brake lines were installed under previous ownership. Other equipment includes Bilstein shocks, BOElinks anodized-aluminum rear toe links, and replacement front wheel bearings.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black leather and cloth as well as matching door panel inserts with orange stitching, exposed aluminum structural elements, and Lloyds carpeted floor mats with orange edging. Amenities include air conditioning, manual windows, an InoKinetic rearview mirror, and a Blaupunkt Acapulco CD stereo. The headliner has been removed and the interior surface of the hardtop painted black.
The factory Momo steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and an LCD information screen. The digital odometer indicates 36k miles.
The mid-mounted 1.8L 2ZZ-GE inline-four was sourced from Toyota and was rated at 190 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque when new. Monkey Wrench Racing underdrive pulleys and a Moroso aluminum coolant expansion tank have been added. An oil change was performed in July 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. A Larini dual-tip exhaust with MWR catalytic converter delete pipe has been installed, and the removed factory exhaust is included in the sale.
Manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, and a Lotus-themed car cover also accompany the car. The window sticker shows factory colors, options, and a total suggested retail price of $50,010.
