This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu is powered by a replacement 396ci V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and has been refinished in red over black vinyl. Features include a custom interior, 15″ Rally wheels, air conditioning, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, a custom dual exhaust system, a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and chrome valve covers.
The body was repainted red during prior ownership. Replacement chrome bumpers have reportedly been fitted, and additional exterior features include a vented hood, side and wheel opening moldings, Super Sport badging, and dual side mirrors.
Slotted 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome beauty rings as well as Chevrolet hubcaps and are mounted with 235/60 front and 255/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dash, headliner, door panels, and carpet. Additional interior appointments include air conditioning, vent windows, lap belts, manual windows, a lockable glovebox, and Chevelle-branded floor mats.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a column-mounted tachometer, and an analog clock. A gauge pod with readouts for oil pressure, water temperature, and voltage is mounted below the dash. The five-digit odometer indicates 46k miles.
The replacement 396ci V8 has been modified with cast manifolds, a custom dual exhaust system, MSD Ignition and spark plug wires, a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock performer intake manifold, and chrome valve covers.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed Tremec manual transmission.
