This 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 is one of 9,007 convertible examples produced for the model year and is finished in blue over a blue and white interior. Originally finished in Bimini Blue Metallic (42), the car received a cosmetic refurbishment under prior ownership that included a repaint in the current blue. A replacement white soft top was installed at that time, and the chrome bumpers and trim were refinished. Equipment includes a wraparound windshield, a rocket-inspired hood ornament, and rear fender skirts.
Steel 15″ wheels are finished in blue and wear chrome covers and 225/75 whitewall tires. A full-size spare tire is mounted in the trunk, and the car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted brakes.
