This 1991 Ford Bronco XLT is one of 2,970 Silver Anniversary examples built for the model year and is finished in Currant Red over special-edition charcoal leather upholstery. The truck is powered by a 5.8-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional features include 15″ alloy wheels, a body-color removable hardtop, a push-button transfer case, auto-locking front hubs, air conditioning, cruise control, a tailgate mounted spare tire, and power accessories. The vehicle was first registered in California and spent time in Michigan prior to the seller’s acquisition in February 2021. Service in preparation for the sale included an oil change and replacement of the idle air control valve and throttle cable.
The Silver Anniversary edition was offered to commemorate 25 years of Bronco production. Each was finished in exclusive Currant Red paint (EC) and featured Silver Anniversary badging on the B-pillars. Additional exterior details include a body-color fiberglass hardtop and bumper trim, side steps, a front brush guard, brightwork on the fenders, and a tailgate mounted spare tire. This example was reportedly repainted during prior ownership, and the seller states that the windshield was replaced along with the side mirrors, turn signal switch, and flasher in June 2019.
Silver 15″ alloy wheels wear 31×10.50″ Goodyear Wrangler Authority A/T tires that were reportedly mounted in January 2021. The seller reports that all six shock absorbers were replaced along with the front brake calipers, pads, and rotors in August 2019. The rear drum brakes are equipped with ABS.
The Silver Anniversary was the first Bronco to receive leather upholstery as a standard feature, and its front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in Dark Charcoal leather (TJ) with red accents. Matching door panels are accompanied by Currant Red carpeting with matching Silver Anniversary floor mats. Additional amenities include power windows and locks, air conditioning, cruise control, a rear-window defroster, and an aftermarket stereo.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer indicates 16k miles.
The 5.8-liter V8 features electronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 210 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. Service in July 2021 included an oil change as well as replacement of the throttle cable and idle air control valve.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
