This 1969 Austin Mini is a right-hand drive MkII example that was refurbished during prior ownership, and it was acquired by the seller out of Washington in September 2020. The car is finished in red over a black interior and is equipped with a rebuilt 998cc inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The roof and bumpers have been painted black, and the car is equipped with a single SU carburetor, fender flares, front disc brakes, and 10″ alloy wheels. Work performed in 2021 included replacement of the fuel pump and ignition points.
The car was repainted in its present shade of red during prior ownership and features a black roof, bumpers, and fender flares.
The 10″ alloy wheels are finished in black with silver lips and are fitted with Kumho tires. Fender flares are fitted at each corner. Braking is from discs up front and drums at the rear, and the car retains its stock “wet” suspension components.
The interior features black front seats, a rear bench, and door trim contrasted by red metal interior surfaces. Additional equipment includes a gray headliner, an overhead light, a heater, and a rear window defroster.
Centralized Smiths instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer with nested fuel gauge and warning lights. Approximately 80k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer.
The 998cc inline-four was reportedly rebuilt during the refurbishment and is equipped with a single SU carburetor. Power is sent to the front wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle. The fuel pump and ignition points were replaced in 2021 according to the seller.
