This 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 is finished in white over red leather and powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes an all-wheel drive system, retractable headlights, aftermarket 18″ wheels, a molded rear spoiler, four-wheel steering, active aerodynamics, automatic climate control, and a factory cassette stereo. The car was purchased by the seller’s son in Indiana in June 2021, and subsequent work is said to have included an oil change and replacement of the wheels, tires, and active-aero pan.
The car is finished in Glacier White Pearl and features retractable headlights, integrated fog lights, vented side bodywork, a power antenna, and a rear wing with active aerodynamics. The right front fender was reportedly repaired and repainted under prior ownership following an accident, and the active-aero pan is said to have been replaced in June 2021.
Black-finished 18″ Motegi Racing MR116 wheels with a red lip were installed under current ownership and wear Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires. Factory equipment included four-wheel steering, anti-locking four-wheel disc brakes, and an electronically adjustable suspension.
The cabin features power-adjustable bolstered front seats trimmed in red leather with matching door panel inserts and carpeting. Amenities include automatic climate control, electric windows, cruise control, and a factory cassette stereo with a seven-band graphic equalizer.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, while additional gauges for boost, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are mounted in the center of the dash. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 82k miles.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.0-liter V6 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 307 lb-ft of torque when new. The water pump, timing belt, and tensioner were reportedly changed at 61k miles in 1997, and the exhaust manifold gasket and turbo gasket are said to have been replaced at 69k miles in 1998. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
The removed white-finished 17″ stock wheels are included in the sale.
The car is supplied with manufacturer’s literature, shop manuals, spare parts, and a handwritten maintenance log dating back to 1997.
