This 1983 Chevrolet Blazer was acquired by the seller in January 2021 following a refurbishment conducted by its previous longterm owners which included a repaint in brown and reupholstery of the interior in tan cloth. Additional refreshments consisted of installing braking and suspension components, shocks, and weatherstripping. Power is provided by a replacement 350ci V8 mated to four-speed automatic transmission with a two-speed transfer case. Work performed by the seller included resealing both differentials and the transmission as well as installing a Rough Country suspension lift, steering components, Rally wheels, fuel and water pumps, and a distributor.
The truck was repainted in brown under previous ownership and features polished belt line trim, chrome bumpers, a receiver hitch, and a body-colored removable hardtop. The windshield was replaced under previous ownership.
The 15″ Rally wheels were mounted with 33×12.5″ BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A tires by the seller. The ride-height is raised using a 2.5″ Rough Country suspension lift installed by the seller. Work carried out under previous ownership included replacing the front axle seals as well as the spindle bearings, tie-rod ends, front and rear wheel bearings, sway bar bushings, front brake calipers, master cylinder, and rear drums.
The interior was reupholstered in tan cloth with darker carpets and fitted with replacement door panels. Additional work included installing a dash pad, window and tailgate regulators, weatherstripping, window channels, speakers, a windshield wiper motor, cruise control regulator and servo, and door locks. The window, headlamp, wiper, and turn signal switches are replacements while the air conditioning system is said to have been flushed and charged.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames a replacement instrument cluster backing plate as well as gauges including an 85-mph speedometer with a six-digit odometer showing 400 miles. Actual mileage is unknown.
A 350ci V8 crate engine is said to have been installed within the last 500 miles and was serviced with a distributor as well as fuel and water pumps by the seller. Maintenance performed by the previous owner reportedly included rebuilding the alternator and starter, resealing the power steering system, and replacing the heater core, hoses, and fan belts.
The 700R4 automatic transmission is said to have been resealed by the seller along with both differentials. Power is routed through a two-speed transfer case. Additional work performed under previous ownership included installing drive-shaft U-joints, a rear differential bearing and seal kit, and spider gear sets.
