This 2008 Audi R8 coupe is finished in Phantom Black Pearl over a beige leather interior, and it is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and Quattro all-wheel drive. The car has been modified with a carbon-fiber hood, side blades, and exterior body panels along with interior and underhood accents and aftermarket Lamborghini-style scissor-door hinges. Features include a gated shifter, Magnetic Ride damping, Audi Navigation Plus, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and black-finished 19″ wheels. The car was first registered in New Jersey and spent time in several states before being acquired by the seller in 2019 and relocated to Texas.
The body is finished in Phantom Black Pearl and features aftermarket Lamborghini-style scissor-door hinges as well as a carbon-fiber hood, front lip spoiler, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, rocker trim, side blades, and mirror caps. Additional exterior equipment includes xenon headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and dual exhaust outlets.
Black-finished 19″ wheels wear Audi-branded center caps and are mounted with Falken Azenis FK510 tires. The car is equipped with a driver-adjustable Magnetic Ride adaptive damping system, while braking is provided by red-finished Audi-branded calipers over cross-drilled and vented rotors at all four corners.
The interior features power-adjustable heated sport seats upholstered in beige leather with matching carpets and door panel inserts. Carbon-fiber trim adorns the steering wheel, dashboard, center console, handbrake lever, and door panels. Additional equipment includes a gated shifter, automatic climate control, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, Audi Navigation Plus, and an Alcantara headliner.
Instrumentation consists of a 220-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a central digital display, and auxiliary gauges for voltage, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just over 59k miles.
The 4.2-liter FSI V8 was factory rated at 420 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque when new. The air-box cover and engine trim panel have been replaced with carbon-fiber components which are visible through the engine cover. Service under current ownership included replacing the oil feed hoses.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and Quattro all-wheel drive.
