This 1984 Chevrolet Corvette was sold new from Holz Motors of Hales Corners, Wisconsin, and remained registered with the first owner before being acquired by the seller in 2021. The car is finished in Silver Metallic over a Graphite interior and is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission with push-button overdrive. Additional equipment includes the Z51 Performance Handling Package, a limited-slip differential, a removable glass roof panel, a Delco-Bose sound system, air conditioning, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, Delco-Bilstein shock absorbers, and 16″ alloy wheels. Work performed in 2020 included replacing the serpentine belt and power antenna along with engine oil, coolant, transmission, and brake fluid changes.
The car left the factory in Silver Metallic (16L) and features a removable glass roof panel. Additional equipment includes fender vents, retractable headlights, and dual twin exhaust outlets.
Polished 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle VR50 tires. The car is equipped with the optional Z51 Performance Handling package and Delco-Bilstein dampers. Braking is handed by power-assisted four-wheel discs, and a brake fluid flush was carried out during an August 2020 service.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in Graphite leather and joined by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Interior amenities include a Delco-Bose sound system with an AM/FM/cassette player, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, cruise control, an on-board computer, a rear window defogger, and power windows, mirrors, and locks.
A black two-spoke steering wheel frames digital instrumentation that includes an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and readouts for instant fuel economy, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates just under 20k miles.
The 5.7-liter L83 V8 features Cross-Fire Injection and produced 205 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when new. An August 2020 service at Holz Motors in Hales Corners, Wisconsin, included flushing the coolant, changing the oil, and replacing the serpentine belt.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Doug Nash “4+3” manual transmission with push-button overdrive as well as a limited-slip differential. The transmission fluid was flushed during the aforementioned August 2020 service.
The window sticker shown above lists initial delivery to Flaherty Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Port Washington, Wisconsin, equipment, colors, and a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $26,681.
