This 2004 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is #103 of a reported 220 1953 Commemorative Edition cars produced by Advanced Automotive Technologies of Rochester Hills, Michigan, for the 2003 and 2004 model years. The car is finished in white over red leather and features interior and exterior styling inspired by the C1 Corvette along with polished-aluminum wheels, carbon-fiber engine-bay trim, HPS SS headers paired with a Borla exhaust, a head-up display, dual-zone climate control, and power-adjustable bucket seats with position memory. Power comes from a 5.7-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The car is finished in Arctic White with a matching convertible soft top and was modified by AAT with custom bodywork inspired by the 1953 C1 Corvette. Additional features include a bright grille and trim, retro-style lights and badging, and quad exhaust outlets.
Optional polished aluminum wheels measure 17″ up front and 18″ out back and wear 245/45 front and 275/40 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp-2 tires. AAT modifications include cross-drilled brake rotors at all four corners and a lowered ride height.
The cabin features red leather upholstery, matching carpeting, and white trim on the steering wheel and lower dashboard. Amenities include a head-up display, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, and power-adjustable bucket seats with position memory.
A red-and-white leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an instrument cluster that includes a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 10k miles.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. Modifications by AAT included the addition of a cold-air intake system, HPS SS headers and catalytic converters, a Borla exhaust system, and carbon-fiber trim throughout the engine bay.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
The window sticker lists factory colors as well as standard and optional equipment and shows a total vehicle price of $55,125.00 before the AAT conversion.
