This 1995 BMW M3 coupe is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and it was reportedly modified under prior ownership with KW Variant 3 coil-overs, Vorshlag camber plates, a Z3-specification steering rack, TC Kline Racing control arms, and polyurethane powertrain mounts. Finished in red over black leather, it is also equipped with manually-adjustable Vader seats, Dinan front and rear strut tower braces, 17″ BBS wheels, an M3 Lightweight-specification front splitter, slotted brake rotors, a chassis reinforcement X-brace, a Strömung exhaust muffler, and a Pioneer CD stereo with auxiliary inputs. The car was first registered in Indiana and later spent time in Ohio and California before being acquired by the seller in June 2017.
The car is finished in Bright Red (hellrot, 314) and features aerodynamic bumper covers, side mirrors, and side sills as well as an M3 Lightweight-specification front splitter, a trunklid lip spoiler, a power sunroof, tinted windows, and dual polished exhaust outlets.
Silver-finished 17″ BBS LM wheels with polished lips wear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and an M3 Lightweight-specification spare Style 24 wheel is stored in the trunk. Dinan strut tower braces have been added at the front and rear, and additional suspension modifications are said to include KW Variant 3 coil-overs, Vorshlag camber plates, a chassis reinforcement X-brace, and TC Kline Racing rear lower control arms. The brakes have been fitted with slotted StopTech rotors. A Z3-specification steering rack has reportedly been installed.
The cabin features manually-adjustable front Vader seats trimmed in black Nappa leather with a matching dashboard, door panel inserts, and carpets. Faux carbon-fiber trim has been added to the dash above the glovebox, and amenities include dual-zone climate control, a replacement front center console, cruise control, and an aftermarket Pioneer CD stereo with USB and auxiliary inputs. A factory CD changer is retained in the trunk but is missing its cartridge magazine. The driver-side window regulator was reportedly repaired in July 2021.
The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel features a centering stripe and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates approximately 101k miles.
The 3.0-liter S50 inline-six was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque when new. Maintenance since 2016 is said to have included fluid changes and replacement of the power steering hoses, spark plugs, belts, radiator fan, and valve cover gasket. The cooling system was reportedly overhauled under prior ownership with a BimmerWorld Stage 3 cooling system kit, and an aftermarket cold-air intake has also been installed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and the clutch release bearing was reportedly replaced in 2017. A Strömung exhaust muffler was added under prior ownership, and polyurethane engine mounts and transmission mounts are also said to have been installed.
The factory stereo is included in the sale along with the removed center console, a short-throw shifter, an additional valve cover gasket, and service records dating back to 2014.
