This 1987 Land Rover 90 is a left-hand drive example that was imported to the US by the seller in June 2021 following a refurbishment in Italy. The project included a repaint in satin black, the addition of a 2.5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four, brake work, and electrical repairs along with installation of new interior upholstery, an air conditioning system, a snorkel, and steel wheels with mud-terrain tires. Power is routed through a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case.
The truck is finished in satin black and features extended black fender flares, a riveted hood bulge and door guards, mud flaps, rock sliders, an LED light bar and headlamps, a snorkel, and an aftermarket front bumper with an integrated winch.
Black 16″ steel wheels are mounted with 285/75 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires at each corner. Riveted sheet metal has also replaced the rear side glass, and rain guards are fitted on the doors.
The interior is upholstered in black vinyl with quilted material on the dash pad, door panels, and ceiling. An aftermarket air conditioning system has been fitted as well as a center console with cupholders. Fixed rear bench seats are housed in the cargo area, which is separated from the driver’s compartment by a metal bulkhead.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-km/h speedometer and secondary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 225k kilometers (~139k miles).
The replacement 2.5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four was sourced in Italy and is said to have been installed in the US. An oil change was performed in July 2021.
Power is routed to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case.
