This 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is one of 252 Carbon Special Edition models produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Corvette’s first entry in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Finished in Supersonic Blue Metallic over Ebony leather and suede microfiber, it is powered by a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a limited slip differential, 19″ and 20″ black-finished wheels, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, a fixed roof, carbon fiber exterior components, heated seats, a Bose audio system, and Bluetooth connectivity. The car was delivered new to Ray Skillman Chevrolet of Indianapolis, Indiana and first registered in Colorado, where it was acquired by the seller in 2013. An engine oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale.
The car is finished Supersonic Blue and features the Carbon Special Edition package which added a fixed roof, a ZR1-style rear spoiler, and a carbon fiber front splitter, raised hood, and rocker panels. Additional details include xenon headlights, Le Mans 50th Anniversary commemorative door graphics, quad exhaust outlets, and paint-protection film on the front nose. The Carfax report lists “minor” damage occurring to the right rear due to an accident in October 2018, as a result of which the right rear splash guard was reportedly replaced.
Black-finished 19″ front and 20″ rear wheels with red and silver Z06 Carbon lettering wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing 2010 date codes. The car is equipped with Magnetic Ride Control and ZR-1 specification Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with silver-finished calipers. The soft foam that protects the rotors when removing and installing the wheels is included in the sale.
The cockpit features heated and power-adjustable seats trimmed in Ebony leather with matching suede microfiber inserts and blue stitching that extends to the steering wheel, shifter, parking brake, armrests, and door panels. Carbon Edition insignias are present on the headrests and door sill plates, and carbon-fiber trim accents the center stack and console. Equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose audio system, Bluetooth connectivity, a power-telescoping steering wheel, and the memory package.
Instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The odometer is said to show 18k miles.
The 7.0-liter LS7 V8 is equipped with a dry-sump lubrication system and was factory rated at 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. In preparation for the sale an oil change was conducted.
The window sticker shows factory equipment, initial delivery to Ray Skillman Chevrolet of Indianapolis, Indiana, and a total vehicle price of $99,925.
