The 3.0-liter M54 inline-six features ZHP-specific enhancements including a modified electronic engine management system and revised camshafts compared to the standard 330i. Factory-rated output was 235 horsepower and 222 lb-ft of torque. An E46 M3-spec front shock tower brace spans the engine bay, and the car is equipped with a BMW Performance air intake. An oil change was performed and a replacement air filter was reportedly installed in August 2020.
