This 1977 Nissan Patrol is a left-hand-drive 4×4 example that is said to have remained with the same owner in Colombia for over three decades before it was imported to the US by the seller in 2021. Refinished in blue and white over a tan interior, it is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes a roof rack, 16” steel wheels, and inward-facing rear jump seats, and services performed during current ownership are said to include replacement of the clutch components, brake booster, and spark plugs.
The body is believed to have been repainted its current shade of two-tone blue and white in 2018, and features include a roof rack, rear quarter windows, three top-mounted windshield wipers, dual swing-out rear cargo doors, side steps, a locking fuel cap, and Nissan-branded rear mud flaps.
Silver-painted 16” steel wheels are fitted over manually locking front hubs and mounted with a mix of Uniroyal tires. A replacement spare wearing a Nissan-branded protective cover is affixed to the swing-out rear tire carrier. The seller believes the brake booster system was sourced from an FJ40 Land Cruiser.
The interior features a 60/40-split front bench upholstered in tan vinyl with patterned inserts, as well as inward-facing jump seats located in the cargo area. The painted metal dashboard houses windshield vents, a passenger grab handle, a push-button radio, and a work light located in the glove compartment.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-km/h speedometer and a combination gauge displaying coolant temperature, oil pressure, amperage, and fuel level. Approximately 600 kilometers (~370 miles) are shown on the five-digit odometer, though total mileage is unknown.
The 4.0L P-series inline-six is equipped with a single carburetor and sends power to the rear or all-four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller reports a hesitation under acceleration, and that the transfer case will not engage in low-range. The spark plugs and wires were replaced during current ownership.
The clutch components were also recently replaced according to the seller.
