The GTS model featured a painted rear wing, a full-width rear reflector, and wider rear fenders compared to the standard 928. This example is finished in black and is equipped with a power-sliding steel sunroof, a rear window wiper, retractable headlights, and integrated fog lights.
Silver-finished 17″ Cup II alloy wheels wear full-color Porsche-crest center caps and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were reportedly installed in 2018. Additional work performed under current ownership is said to have included replacement of the steering rack, and brake rotors, pads, and hoses.
The cabin features power-adjustable front seats and individual rear seats that were reupholstered in Cashmere leather with matching carpets protected by Porsche-script floor mats. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. The sunroof and window switches were replaced in April 2018, and the car features a Kenwood head unit and amplifier. The removed AM/FM cassette stereo, amplifier, and CD changer are included in the sale.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 59k miles.
The all-aluminum 5.4-liter DOHC V8 produced 345 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque when new. Work performed under current ownership reportedly included replacing the timing belt, water pump, and seals.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a rear-mounted four-speed automatic transaxle featuring a variable limited-slip differential. The rear hydraulic differential pump was reportedly replaced in 2018. The exhaust system is said to have been modified with a muffler bypass.
