This re-creation of a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro was built for its current owner between 2008 and 2012 by R.A. Smith and Sons Auto Collision of York Springs, Pennsylvania. The car features a Dynacorn reproduction steel body mounted to a subframe which was reportedly sourced from a 1967 Camaro. A GM 502ci V8 crate engine was installed in 2019 and is paired with a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt rear end with 4.11:1 gearing. The car is finished in metallic orange over a black interior, and additional features include a Vintage Air A/C system, a cowl hood, rear lip spoiler, polished American Racing Torq Thrust wheels, front disc brakes, an AM/FM stereo with an auxiliary input, and a trunk-mounted CD changer.
The reproduction steel body was manufactured by Dynacorn and has been finished in metallic orange. Exterior features include a cowl hood, driver’s sideview mirror, front and rear lip spoilers, Camaro badging, and dual exhaust outlets.
Polished 15” American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires. Stopping power is provided by SSBC Force 10 front calipers paired with ventilated rotors along with drum brakes out back. The car rides on Camaro front control arms and KYB shocks at all four corners.
The cabin features front bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dashboard top, door panels, and carpets. Lap belts are fitted for front occupants, and amenities include a Vintage Air A/C system, center console, Hurst shifter, and a push-button stereo with an auxiliary input wired to a six-disc CD changer housed in the trunk. The seller reports that the air conditioning has been recently serviced.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-color dashboard housing instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a combination gauge, and a five-digit odometer showing 2k miles.
Previously powered by a 427ci V8, the car was fitted with a 502ci GM V8 crate engine in 2019 by Island Motors of Hilton Head, South Carolina. Equipment includes MSD ignition, a Holley carburetor, aluminum radiator, and a 502-branded chrome air cleaner cover. Maintenance in August 2021 included replacement of the battery, fuel filter, and fuel level sending unit.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and a GM 12-bolt differential with 4.11:1 gearing. A new clutch and flywheel were installed in 2019. The frame was reportedly sourced from a donor 1967 Camaro and reinforced with bolt-on stiffening components.
