This 1966 Ford F-100 is a short-bed styleside pickup finished in bronze and is powered by a replacement 200ci Thriftpower inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a woven bench seat cover, a steel storage box in the bed, a sliding rear window, Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, an MSD electronic ignition system, Saginaw power steering, front disc brakes, and a suspension system said to lower the ride height by 3″. Refurbishment work under prior ownership is said to have included a repaint along with the installation of the replacement engine and transmission and overhauls of the brake and suspension systems.
The truck was refinished in bronze prior to the seller’s acquisition, and it features a white storage box, tailgate letters, and bumpers. Equipment includes a sliding rear window, vent windows, and chrome rain guards, door handles, and mirrors. The seller notes that an LED light strip has been installed below the tailgate.
Painted steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and rings and are wrapped in Hankook Dynapro HT tires. The truck has reportedly been lowered by 3″ and is equipped with aftermarket shocks and front disc brakes reportedly sourced from a 1978 Ford F-150.
The cabin features a bench seat sourced from a 1988 Ford F-150 that is upholstered in blue vinyl under a woven cloth seat cover, and the door panel inserts are upholstered to match. Equipment includes a painted dashboard, a perforated headliner, a glovebox, and an aftermarket center console that houses the display and control unit for the Holley Sniper EFI system.
The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and frames a 100-mph speedometer with integrated gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 85k miles.
The 200ci Thriftpower inline-six is said to have been sourced from a 1975 Ford Maverick and fitted with a cylinder head from a Ford Fairmont. A Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system is installed along with an MSD electronic ignition system, an electric fuel pump, Saginaw power steering, and a radiator reportedly sourced from a 1994 Ford F-250. An oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed C4 automatic transmission and a 3.55:1 rear axle that is said to have been sourced from a 1993 Ford Bronco.
