This 2011 Saab 9-4X Aero is finished in silver over black leather and is powered by a turbocharged 2.8-liter V6 paired with a six-speed automatic transaxle. Features include 20″ turbine-look alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, power-adjustable climatized front seats, dual-zone climate control, DVD navigation, Bose Audio, and a panoramic sunroof. The car was first registered in Georgia and later spent time in Kentucky and Missouri before being acquired by the seller in October 2021. The rear differential was replaced in 2017, and work performed in August 2021 included an oil change and replacement of the turbo boost pressure valve, turbo bypass valve, water pump, and rear shock absorbers.
The 9-4X was built alongside the contemporary Cadillac SRX and was produced for a portion of the 2011 model year before Saab declared bankruptcy and ceased production. Approximately 600 9-4Xs were produced during that time, a reported 200 of which are said to have received the Aero package. This example is finished in Diamond Silver Metallic and features a panoramic sunroof, bi-xenon headlights with washers, front fog lamps, and twin exhaust outlets.
Turbine-look 20″ alloy wheels wear 245/50 Firestone Destination LE2 tires. The rear shock absorbers were replaced in August 2021, and the power steering angle sensor, brake pads, and brake rotors are said to have been been replaced in preparation for the sale.
The cabin features power-adjustable climatized front seats upholstered in black leather with gray accents, and gray trim adorns the dashboard, center console, and door inserts. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, Bose Audio, DVD navigation, and a rearview camera with front and rear parking sensors.
The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features paddle shifters and fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an LCD display, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 107k miles.
The turbocharged 2.8-liter V6 was rated at 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque when new. A 100k-mile service was completed and the spark plugs were replaced in April 2018 at approximately 94k miles. Work performed in August 2021 included an oil change as well as replacement of the turbo boost pressure valve, the turbo bypass valve, and water pump.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transaxle and an electronic limited-slip rear differential. Service records indicate that the rear differential was replaced in October 2017 at approximately 89k miles.
Manufacturer’s literature, a navigation DVD, and two fob keys are shown above and included in the sale.
