This 1992 Ferrari 348 TS is finished Rosso Corsa over tan leather and powered mid-mounted 3.4-liter DOHC V8 paired with a dogleg five-speed manual transaxle. Features include a removable roof panel, 17″ wheels, a gated shifter, air conditioning, and power windows. The car was sold new by Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, Connecticut, and was acquired by the current owner in 2013. Work carried out in anticipation of the sale consisted of a timing belt service, adjusting the valves, along with replacing the battery, catalytic control unit, crank position sensor, coolant hoses, drive belts, filters, and fluids.
The 348 was designed by Leonardo Fioravanti for Pininfarina and replaced the 328 in 1989. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa with black lower-body panels. Features include a removable roof panel, side air intakes, and louvered tail lights.
Factory 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 215/50 front and 255/45 rear Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 tires. Braking is handled four-wheel disc brakes with gloss black-finished calipers. The brakes were bled in January 2022.
The cabin is trimmed in tan Connolly leather with darker carpets, a two-tone dashboard, and matching door panels. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, branded floor mats, and a gated shifter.
Veglia instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline as well as oil pressure and coolant temperature gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 20k miles.
The 3.4-liter quad-cam V8 was rated at 300 horsepower and 238 lb-ft of torque when new and is mated to a five-speed manual transaxle with a factory ZF limited-slip differential. In January 2022, Gran Turismo of Los Angeles performed a timing belt service, adjusted the valves, and replaced the battery, catalytic control unit, crank position sensor, coolant hoses, drive belts, filters, and fluids.
The window sticker lists original delivery to Miller Motorcars along with factory colors, optional equipment, and a total price of $117,300.
