This 1934 Ford five-window is a steel-bodied coupe that is finished in orange over black and powered by a 351ci Cleveland V8 paired with an FMX three-speed automatic transmission. The steel body’s roof is said to have been chopped in the 1950s, and the car was refinished circa 1990 in BMW Inka Orange. Features include an 8″-tall windshield, chrome bumpers, louvered hood panels, a windshield wiper, rubber running board covers, a top-mount mirror, flush taillights, and dual chrome exhaust outlets.
Orange 15″ steel wheels feature chrome hubcaps and trim rings and are mounted with 185/60 front and 235/70 rear Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. A Mustang II front end includes coil springs and power-assisted steering, with the live axle mounted to rear leaf springs. Braking is from discs up front and drums at the rear.
The interior features bench seating and door panels that were reupholstered in black vinyl along with matching carpets, lap and shoulder belts, and a replacement headliner. Additional equipment includes a 1963 Cadillac tilting and telescoping steering column and a Kenwood KMM-BT315U Bluetooth receiver mounted below the black metal dashboard.
The machined aluminum steering wheel is mounted ahead of a VDO 120-mph speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The Ford 351 Cleveland V8 was reportedly installed in the 1970s and features Mallory ignition, Holley M/T valve covers, a modified pressurized radiator, and an electric cooling fan. The chassis wiring was replaced in 2005, and an oil change was performed in anticipation of the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ford FMX three-speed automatic transmission and an Oldsmobile differential.
