This 1995 Toyota MR2 Turbo is finished in red over tan leather and is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Factory optional equipment includes an anti-lock braking system, a limited slip differential, power assisted electro-hydrolic steering, premium 3 in 1 ETR/cassette/CD with 8-speakers with a Power Diversity Antenna, carpeted floor mats, a Toyota Theft Deterrent System, and mudguards. The car was first registered in Colorado and spent time in Puerto Rico before it was relocated to New Hampshire and acquired by the seller in May 2018. Subsequent service included the installation of a CT27 turbocharger and replacement of the timing belt, water pump, spark plugs and wires as well as the cap and rotor.
The car is finished in Super Red (3E5) and features a T-bar roof with removable glass panels and sun shades as well as a rear spoiler, pop-up headlights, fog lights, side air inlets, a turbo-specific engine lid, Japanese-market side marker lights, a powered antenna, and dual exhaust outlets with polished tips.
Factory 15″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 205/50 Nitto Neo Gen tires that were installed in 2020. A space-saver spare is found in the front trunk. Stopping power is provided by red-painted calipers over four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features manually-adjustable bolstered seats that are trimmed in tan leather along with matching door panel inserts and carpeting. Amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, power accessories, black floor mats, and a factory premium sound system with a CD player.
A tilt-adjustable leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, boost, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 67k miles.
The 2.0-liter turbocharged 3S-GTE was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. Service performed in August 2018 included the installation of a CT27 turbocharger, replacement of the timing belt, water pump, hoses, spark plugs and wires, the distributor cap, and rotor along with an oil change and radiator flush.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
