This 1965 Chevrolet C10 is a long-bed Fleetside pickup that is said to have been refurbished in 2012 with work that included an exterior refinish in orange over a black interior. Power comes from a 283ci V8 paired with a replacement four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes chrome 16″ aftermarket wheels, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, a custom aluminum fuel tank, wood-planked flooring in the bed, and a floor-mounted Hurst shifter.
The Fleetside body is said to have been removed from the frame and refinished in the current orange during a 2012 refurbishment. Features include a dual-outlet exhaust, a shaved fuel filler neck, and a chrome grille, side mirrors, and bumpers. An April 2021 collision with a deer is said to have resulted in damage to the grille and chipped paint, which were subsequently repaired.
Chrome-finished 16″ aftermarket wheels wear 255/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at each corner. A power-steering system is said to have been installed in October 2020.
Wood-planked floorboards in the bed are separated by polished trim strips. The fuel filler is located in the bed floor, just ahead of the tailgate.
The interior features color-matching finishes on sheetmetal and a bench seat trimmed in black with a Chevrolet bow-tie logo and matching carpets. Interior amenities include a Hurst floor-mounted shifter, a locking glove compartment, a heater, and a push-button radio.
An orange two-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes a 100-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights. The five-digit odometer indicates 2k miles.
A carbureted 283ci V8 sends power to a replacement four-speed manual transmission. Features include a relocated rear-mounted aluminum fuel tank. The oil was changed in October 2020.
