This 1928 Ford Model A roadster is finished in green and black over brown upholstery, and it was acquired by the seller out of New Hampshire in October 2020. The car was cosmetically refurbished and modified by its previous owner in Massachusetts approximately 30 years ago, at which time a rebuilt 201ci inline four was installed and paired with its three-speed manual transmission. Additional features include a rumble seat, painted wire wheels, wind wings, and a tan soft top along with matching side curtains. Service performed in preparation for the sale included a safety inspection and an oil change.
The exterior was refinished with a green body contrasted by black fenders and running boards. Features include dual fluted headlights, a MotoMeter radiator cap, wind wings, boot scrapers, and chrome-finished front and rear bumpers.
Yellow-painted wire wheels are mounted with Garfield tires with ‘pie crust’ sidewalls, and a rear-mounted spare is equipped with a Ford-branded fabric cover with a visible tear.
The interior features a bench seat trimmed in brown vinyl with matching door and kick panel treatments. Equipment includes a floor-mounted shifter for the three-speed manual transmission as well as spark advance controls on the four-spoke steering wheel. Yellow pinstriping accents the body-color dashboard.
The rumble bench seat pictured above features matching upholstery and brown carpeting for the rear passengers.
The diamond-shaped instrument panel houses an ammeter and gauges monitoring fuel level, speed, and distance traveled. Approximately 3,400 miles are currently indicated on the odometer.
The 201ci inline-four was rebuilt and installed during prior ownership, and power to the rear wheels through a three-speed sliding gear manual transmission. Servicing completed in preparation for the sale included a general inspection and an oil change.
