This 1946 Chevrolet Suburban was refurbished under prior ownership and is powered by a replacement 235ci inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. It is finished in green and black over brown and is equipped with yellow artillery-style 15″ wheels with hubcaps and whitewall tires, fog lights, three rows of seating, a wooden rear cargo floor, and an under-dash heater.
The second-generation Suburban debuted for the 1941 model year with a longer wheelbase was produced through 1946. This example has been refinished in green with black fenders and running boards. Other features include a split windshield, black and yellow beltline pinstriping, chrome bumpers, yellow fog lights, and swing-out rear doors.
Yellow-finished 15″ artillery-style wheels wear chrome hubcaps and trim rings and are mounted with 6.70-15 BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires.
The interior features a split front bench seat, a narrow middle row, and a third bench at the rear, all with brown upholstery. A black liner covers the front footwells, and the rear wood-slat cargo floor is trimmed with black runners. The dashboard and inner doors are painted brown, and a Chevrolet-branded heater is mounted under the passenger side of the dash.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and gauges to monitor the temperature, battery, oil, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 300 miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The 235ci inline-six was sourced from a later model that features a chrome-finished valve cover. A tune-up is said to have been performed in September 2021.
Shifting is through a replacement four-speed manual transmission.
