This 1952 Chevrolet 3100 is a five-window pickup that was purchased by the seller in 2014. It has been refurbished and modified, which included refinishing the exterior in green, installation of bucket seats trimmed in beige upholstery, fitting lowered suspension and front disc brakes, and installation of a 454ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The body is finished in green and is accented with two-tone red and yellow pinstriping as well as ‘D.E. Duffey & Sons’ logos on both doors. Additional features include chrome bumpers, tinted windows, dual mirrors, pan-mounted aftermarket tail lights, and a flip-down tailgate. The Stepside bed is lined with stained wooden slats that the seller states were refinished during current ownership and are secured with polished stainless-steel cargo runners.
Steel 15″ wheels are finished in red with chrome hubcaps and mounted with a mix of BFGoodrich and American Classic whitewall tires. The seller states that suspension components sourced from a newer model were fitted and the suspension is lowered, and the truck is equipped with front disc brakes.
Reclining bucket seats trimmed in beige upholstery were added to the cabin, along with a fold-down armrest and dual cup holders. Additional features include a Vintage Air air-conditioning system, power windows, black rubber floor mats, a fire extinguisher, and a JVC CD stereo housed in the painted metal dashboard. The seller reports an odor from the air-conditioning system.
The Grant wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Daytona instrumentation including a 145-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, battery voltage, and oil pressure. The seller reports that the odometer does not work, and 26k miles.
The 454ci big-block V8 was fitted during prior ownership, and it is equipped with a polished intake manifold, chrome-finished valve covers, and tubular headers. The seller states the three-speed automatic transmission was rebuilt during their ownership, and the radiator and fan were replaced along with the serpentine belt system.
Pypes Performance exhaust components were also fitted during current ownership according to the seller.
