This 1954 Citroën Traction Avant 11BL is finished in black over gray upholstery, and power comes from a 1.9-liter inline-four mated to a three-speed manual transaxle. The seller reports recent replacement of the brake master cylinder, though the system is in need of further servicing.
The cabin features seating surfaces trimmed in two-tone gray upholstery, along with matching door panels and a painted metal dashboard. Three-point seat belts are fitted for front occupants, and additional equipment include a dashboard-mounted rear-view mirror and a glove compartment. Various stains on the interior are highlighted in the gallery, along with an area of wear on the right-front door panel.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation, including a 150-km/h speedometer, an ammeter, and a fuel-level gauge. Aftermarket gauges are mounted under the left side of the dashboard. Under 39k kilometers (~24k miles) are shown on the five-digit odometer.
The 1.9-liter inline-four sends power to the front wheels through three-speed manual transaxle. Recent service performed by the seller is said to include an overhaul of the top-end of the motor with replacement valves and guides, an oil change, rebuilding the carburetor, water pump, and generator, and replacement of the battery, fan belt, fluids, and clutch components. The seller states that the second gear synchro is worn and occasionally grinds when engaging the gear, and the first gear is not synchronized.
A Citroën parts catalog, workshop manual, and parts receipts from current ownership are included in the sale, along with spare parts and tools, including a radiator cover and a crank start bar.
