A removable ‘porthole’ hardtop is included in the sale along with a rolling storage stand, and additional equipment includes rear fender skirts, an egg-crate grille, and chrome bumpers with integrated exhaust outlets.
Steel 15″ wheels wear chrome-finished wheel covers, along with whitewall Calli tires that were fitted in March 2020. A full-size spare tire is mounted in the trunk, and the car is equipped with power steering and power brakes.
The cabin features red and white upholstery on the bench seat and door panels, along with a red padded dashboard and engine-turned metal trim. Amenities include a power-adjustable seat, an aftermarket radio, and power windows, though the seller states that the right-side window power is currently disconnected. Additional flaws include a tear on the driver’s side seat upholstery.
The two-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and sits ahead of factory instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and a clock. while aftermarket gauges are mounted under the dashboard. The seller notes that the factory coolant temperature and fuel level gauges are not aLurate, and the aftermarket voltage and temperature gauges do not function. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows under 33k miles.
The 292ci ‘Y-block’ V8 features finned valve covers and a chrome air cleaner cover. The car was converted to use a 12-volt electrical system in 2019, and a replacement battery was installed in March 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Ford-O-Matic transmission.
