Finished from the factory in India Ivory and Sherwood Green (706D), the body was removed from the frame and repainted green and white, and the chrome was re-plated following the completion of body work by the seller’s father. Exterior details include Bel Air badging, chrome bumpers and trim, a hood ornament, dual exhaust outlets, twin side mirrors, and a hidden fuel filler behind the left taillight.
Chrome steel wheels are mounted with Coker Classic whitewall tires that were reportedly installed in 2016. A spare is found in the trunk, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.
The interior features twin bench seats trimmed in two-tone green and white upholstery along with matching door panels. Appointments include Bel Air dash trim, an analog clock, lap belts, a locking glove box, and a push-button stereo.
A three-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring fronts a 110-mph speedometer with inset temperature and fuel level gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 4k miles.
The 265ci V8 is said be equipped with the “Power Pack” option, which included a four-barrel carburetor. The radiator was replaced in 2013, while the fuel filter was replaced and the carburetor rebuilt in 2015. The seller states the engine is prone to stalling and the accelerator pump needs adjustment.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission, which is noted to leak after a period of non-use.
