This 1956 Ford Customline two-door sedan is finished in black over gray cloth and was reportedly refurbished under previous ownership in Georgia. The two-door sedan body is said to have been refinished in black under previous ownership in 1999. The front and rear chrome bumpers have been replaced, and additional details include dual exit exhaust outlets, a driver-side rear view mirror, and polished trim.
Gray-finished 15″ American Racing wheels feature silver lips and wear General Altimax RT tires measuring 205/70 up front and 225/70 out back. Additional modifications include power-assisted front disc brakes, upgraded front and rear sway bars, replacement shocks, and 3″ rear lowering blocks.
The cabin features two-tone gray and vinyl upholstery on the front and rear bench seats along with body-colored steel surfaces and black carpeting. Equipment includes lap belts, a floor-mounted Hurst shifter, an under-dash fan, a trio of auxiliary gauges, and a retro-style Ford-branded digital radio.
A black-rimmed steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and an analog clock. A Sunpro tachometer has been fitted to the steering column, and the five-digit odometer shows 88k miles.
The 406ci V8 breathes through Tri-Power carburetors and is equipped with auxiliary electric fans, MSD ignition components, and bronze-painted valve covers. The oil and filter were recently changed by the seller.
A Toploader four-speed manual transmission routes power through a Ford 9″ rear-end with a 3.50:1 gear ratio. The exhaust has been modified with 2.5″ piping, a crossover section, and Flowmaster mufflers.
