This 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud is a four-door saloon that was delivered to its first owner in Italy and later brought to the US, where it was reportedly acquired by the former owner of Ferrari of Denver. Purchased by the current owner 10 years ago, the car is finished in Masons Black over beige leather and powered by a 4.9-liter inline-six paired with a 4-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
The body features a standard shell manufactured by the Pressed Steel Company with alloy doors, hood, and trunk lid panels.
15” steel wheels wear covers with a body-colored ring accented by red and white pinstripes. BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial whitewall tires are mounted. Hydraulic servo-assisted brakes are equipped all around, with dual master cylinders.
The interior is trimmed in Beige Connolly leather with Fawn carpeting. The burl wood dash is complemented by matching fold-down trays on the front seat backs and dual-grain wood door caps. The 3-spoke black steering wheel sits ahead of a column shifter, and power-assisted steering was equipped from the factory. Air conditioning is believed to be a later addition.
The 5-digit odometer shows 7k kilometers, although total mileage is not known.
The 4.9-liter inline-six features twin SU carburetors and an F-head configuration, which incorporates overhead intake valves and side exhaust valves. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a General Motors–sourced Hydra-Matic 4-speed automatic transmission.
